I'm pretty sure the answer i am going to get by most here but i still can't decide which Train simulator i want to get, either this or Trainz A New Era. I'm leaning to Trainz because of the new engine and i know it will grow and get better overtime, the con currently for me with train simulator 2015 is i know there is a new one in the works using unreal engine 4. This is most likely going to cause any addons for ts2015/16 content to not work with the new engine. Google maps for windows ce 60 download for windows 7.

So my thought is this get in on new ground with Trainz and wait for unreal engine 4 train simulator and jump in then fresh too. Any logic to this or should just say screw it and go with ts2015/16 now. Původně napsal:TANE, isnt backwards compatable with the older content, that was and is still high quality, and I dont have the time or patients to update every little piece of equipment to the new content manager versions everytime, so I gave all of my content to the Trainz community and came here. Best decision I ever made. I still use some of my old content for repaints on RW, but for the most part, I don't ever have to update RW content. It makes the experience that much better.

Yes I feel really mislead there by NV3, I seem to remember them distinctly saying pre TANE launch (hence my buying a pre-launch copy) that most of the key Trainz add-ons would be compatible with the T-ANE when it came out. So I also bought the various main official historic Trainz DLC. Just to find out when I got TANE all this content was non compatible after all. They aslo when I put trust in their Kickstarter project, didn't mention there would be two versions of TANE. A steam and a non-Steam version. So now I'm stuck with a non Steam variant of the game.

And yes my experience of the Content Manager system has been terrible. Things just don't seem to work, and for no apparent reason. Plus support for the game seems to be non-existent, with a very hostile community. So I soon gave up, and came back to my 'beloved' trains. And I'm so glad I did! When I was exploring Trainz/Tane (kickstarter) it was at a time when TS was going through a pretty torrid time i.e. Soon after the launch of TS2015.

The game I had loved TS2013/14 was no more, and I was having so much trouble with so many aspects of running RailWorks. Fortunately now everything (well most things) seem to be nicely back on track.:). Původně napsal:The OP bought Trainz/TANE. Just seems he wanted a new s/w graphics engine and the new content that came with it. Shame because as we all know there's much more to fun good train-simming.

Globo receiver software update. Teletext background receiving function is implemented 6. Jump to invalid page in teletext 8. Scramble recording and playback with CI after descrambling 9. Memory last page in teletext 7.

Rather than just pretty exterior World graphics (if that's the actual reality in-game for TANE). However, I sincerely wish him the best of luck; and hope he's found what he was after. Yes, i bought TANE but doesn't mean i'm not going to buy TS2016 either when released as i stated in a reply i'd probably end up just buying both and seeing for myself. Everyone has differing opinions on which sim is better i've read opinions on both. YOu may think it is sad i went with TANE first but i don't think so supporting competition is a good thing in the end for both TANE and TS20xx. I also from opinions i've read see much more potential in TANE, than i currently do with TS20xx as it is now.
